Stars Ed Wynn as a pitchman visited by Mr. Death. Mr. Death is portrayed by Murray Hamilton, well-known TV actor of the day, but probably known by most reading this as the Mayor of Amity in Jaws.

This episode stars Earl Holliman as an Air Force officer who cracks during an isolation test, thinking he’s the only one left in a town.

Also features James Gregory who some may remember as Inspector Luger on Barney Miller in the 1970s.

I will always remember Earl Holliman because of MST3K’s tribute during the episode featuring Attack of the The Eye Creatures. “EARL HOLLIMAN!!!!”

I’ve been watching old TV shows quite a bit and starting a “new” one, The Twilight Zone. I know I’ve seen a lot of the show but starting at season 1, episode 1.

Nerds really don’t understand the real world, DHH does, and that’s why they get upset. It’s about connections, people connections. That’s why it was worth $18 million.

i guess it’s all how you spin. McDonald’s says their AI-based drive-thru ordering system is 90%+ accurate. Or, in less optimistic terms, has a potential 10% failure rate. Doesn’t sound too good to my ears. 1 in 10 orders could possibly be screwed up? I’m sure that would go over well with employees.

Took these photos 23 years ago today when I was getting ready to sell this Time Pilot arcade game. From about 2000 to 2003 I had a hobby of restoring old video games. I ran out of time, money, and space once my daughter was born (hence the date of the photo, she was a month old and I was getting out of the hobby). I got this Time Pilot from this amusements vendor out of his warehouse for about $15 because it didn’t work (actually got a medium-sized moving truck full of stuff for about $15 each) Turned out that only one chip on the motherboard was bad. Quick trip to Radio Shack (remember those?) and voila, the game was working.
